A residential Scottish Country Dance Summer School
Join us at Scots College, Strathmore, Wellington for a packed programme of classes, socials and formals.
Scots College is set in beautiful park-like grounds, just minutes from Wellington International Airport. Scots College offers modern co-ed boarding facilities, ideal for a residential summer school.
Scots College has boarding facilities with a capacity for 115 people. Accommodation is twin rooms with shared amenities. Common rooms are available nearby.
Summer School resident packages include accommodation, all meals, morning teas, suppers, morning and (optional) afternoon classes and entry to all evening dances.
Commuter packages do not include the meals or accommodation.

The prices above include a $100 discount for RSCDS members. If you are not a member of the RSCDS, add $100 to your fee.
Juniors must have a current Junior Associate Membership to take advantage of the JAM prices.
A deposit of $200 ($100 for JAMs) is payable on registration. $100 of this deposit is non-refundable.
The balance of your Registration Fee is due by 1 December 2024.
A monthly payment option is available – you can pay the balance by five monthly payments, the first of which will be in April 2024. See the registration form for details.

How to pay
After completing the registration form,
make your payment to RSCDS NZ Branch Inc NI Summer School bank account 01-0235-0104533-04. Include your NAME in the particulars. If paying from overseas, please ensure you pay any international transfer fees so the correct amount is deposited into the account.
Please note a $200 deposit for adults and a $100 deposit for JAMs must be made to confirm your registration. All fees include a non-refundable registration fee of $100 (unless the school is cancelled by the RSCDS NZ Branch).
NZ Branch Scholarships
The NZ Branch offers a number of scholarships for RSCDS NZ Branch members to attend Summer School. The scholarships cover the full resident Summer School fee, but exclude all other costs such as travel expenses, examination fees and late registration surcharges.
The closing date for scholarship applications is 30 September 2024. Note that the late registration surcharge applies from 31 August 2024, so we suggest you register and pay your deposit early. If your scholarship application is successful, the NZ Branch will refund your deposit.

Shirt orders close on 7 November 2024 and shirts will be available for collection when you register at Summer School.
Summer School 24/25 Organising Committee
This Wellington Summer School is being delivered by a team who are all well-known experienced dancers. They have attended numerous Summer Schools and have helped to organise many large Scottish Country Dancing events.
